Proqio’s Historical Data Upload feature allows you to import past measurement records directly into your project. This ensures continuity in data trends, helps fill in missing intervals, and creates a complete dataset for analysis and reporting.

What This Feature is Useful For
The Historical Data Upload feature can be helpful in multiple scenarios:

Backfilling Gaps – If sensors were offline, users can add missed readings to maintain a continuous timeline.

Updating Formulas – When a formula is updated in PROQIO, recalculation can be triggered by re-uploading the relevant historical data. This ensures that all derived values are refreshed and outputs remain accurate and consistent with the latest formula.

Enhanced Analytics – Trigger recalculations to refine insights, detect early anomalies, and improve predictive models.

Project Handover – Upload old datasets when transitioning projects to PROQIO for centralized monitoring.
Uploading Historical Data
Historical data in Proqio can be uploaded seamlessly using the Template feature. This ensures data accuracy and consistency across projects. To upload historical data, follow these steps:

Navigate to Monitoring

Go to the Monitoring section in your project dashboard.

Access the Upload CSV Widget

Open the Upload CSV widget and click the dropdown icon [⌄].

Download a Template
-
Select Download Templates.

Choose the Measurement template and the instrument category for which you want to upload data.

Provide the required information and click Download Templates to save the file.

Fill in the Template

Open the downloaded file.

Enter the historical measurement details in the appropriate fields.
- Make sure to correct the Date/Time format as given in the header column.

Upload the Completed File

Return to the Proqio platform to the Upload CSV widget.

Upload or drag-and-drop the updated CSV file.

Click Upload to confirm.

- Verify the Upload
- Once the process is complete, the uploaded data will be visible within Proqio for analysis and reporting.
Additional tip:
Please note that once historical records are uploaded, Proqio can automatically recalculate derived parameters and analytics.
