Step 3: Add calibrations to your instruments
Add calibration parameters to your instruments to enhance data visualization by processing the raw data collected from each instrument. Apply the defined calibration formulas to generate processed data.
What are Calibrations?
Calibrations are predefined custom parameters applied to instruments to enhance the visualization of data by adjusting and refining the raw measurements collected.
Adding Calibration to your instruments
Step 1: Add calibration to category
- Navigate to the Monitoring section
- Click on the "Categories" tab
- Select the instrument category to which you want to apply the calibration parameters.
- Navigate to "Model" tab
Step 2: Adding Calibration Parameters
- Click on " + " to add the calibration details
- Fill in the Details i.e. Name, Description, Unit and Linked Field.
- Click on "Add" Button to add the calibration parameter to instrument.
What are Linked Fields?
Linked Fields are raw data fields that are associated with the Calibration section in PROQIO. They allow you to reference and use actual sensor readings during the calibration process.
By selecting a specific timestamp, you can link a raw value to a calibration point—ensuring that the calibration is based on real, traceable data.
Step 3: Adding calibration parameters in formula
-
Enter the required details into the respective data fields under the Calculate Field section.
-
In the Editor panel, input your formula using a combination of calibration parameters and raw field values to ensure accurate calculations.
-
Once your formula is complete, click the Add Formula button to apply and save it.
Step 4: Adding Calibration Value
- Once done with adding calibration parameters, navigate to "Monitoring" section
- Select the instrument to which you want to apply calibration values.
3. Navigate to Calibration tab to add the calibration.
4. Click on "Add Revision" button to add the Calibration.
5. Set the calibration for instruments with existing data by selecting the measurement date and time you want to use as the calibration. It shows by using linked field. Also add how we can add the calibrations manually.
6. Edit calibration values to get the desired value.
7. Enter the calibration value and select the date for this calibration.
8. Save Calibration Changes.
9. Save changes Globally.
10. Recalculate the data once calibration is applied.
You can view the applied calibration from the Monitoring section.
