Proqio allows users to perform QA (Quality Analysis) on their data, by enabling the auditing and correcting of records where necessary. It allows users to review historical readings, edit or delete incorrect values, and ensure that only accurate, reliable data is used for analysis and reporting.

Proqio’s Quality Analysis (QA) allows users to maintain data accuracy and reliability by identifying, correcting, and managing data inconsistencies. Whether due to incorrect values entered by mistake or sensor disturbances caused by natural events, Proqio provides a streamlined way to correct data and ensure analysis remains precise and trustworthy.

Incorrect Data Entry

Sometimes wrong values are recorded due to misconfiguration or sensor errors. These anomalies must be corrected to maintain dataset integrity.

Sensor Disturbance - Sensor disturbances can occur due to multiple factors. Common causes include:

Manual manipulation or mishandling of the sensor

Construction or building works in the surrounding area

Natural wear and tear of the sensor over time
- Animals stepping on or passing close to the sensor

How to Edit Data in Proqio

Navigate to the Instrument

Go to Layers > Monitoring > Instruments.

Select the instrument where the data correction is needed.

Open Instrument Details

Click the Details button located at the top-right of the graph.

Access History Section

In the History section, locate the data entries.

Select the Timestamp to Edit
-
Find the specific timestamp containing the incorrect value.

Click the check box next to the record and select Edit sample.

Update the Data
-
Modify the value as required in the editor.

Click Save to apply the change.

Recalculate Data
-
After saving, trigger a Recalculation so that any dependent formulas and analytics reflect the updated data.
