Onboarding Dialogue

The Onboarding Dialogue feature consists of interactive pop-up windows with step-by-step sliders that appear when a user first accesses key sections of the Proqio platform.

Why is this functionality useful?

The Onboarding Dialogue feature is designed to highlight important functionalities, guide users through the interface, and provide quick tips to get users up and running efficiently—whether you're a new user or exploring a section for the first time. It covers Proqio´s key sections: map view, monitoring section, dashboards, reports and project settings.

Feature Highlights:

  • Quick Feature Discovery: Easily learn about essential features in core areas of the platform.

  • Guided Experience: Provides a step-by-step introduction to critical workflows.

  • Personalized Learning: The Onboarding pop-up windows are only shown when it's truly a user´s first time in a specific section in a given project.

  • Flexible Access: This feature allows users to skip sections they are already familiar with, or revisit a given onboarding section as needed.

  • Information Storage: Once a user has completed an onboarding tour for a certain section, their progress is saved, and that specific tour will not be shown again for that project unless the user decides to restart it.

  • Restart Onboarding Sections: Users can easily access Onboarding Tour sections that they have already gone through again at any time by navigating to the Avatar Panel (top right corner) and selecting "Restart Onboarding."

How do the the Onboarding Tours work?

The first time a user accesses the key sections detailed below, they will see a pop-up window with an Onboarding Tour that they can view and navigate through:

  • Map: A walk-thorugh guide of key map features.

  • Monitoring: Step-by-step guide of the most important monitoring functionalities.

  • Dashboard: A comprehensive overview of key dashboard features.

  • Reports: A guided tour of report generation and management.

  • Settings: Designed to help users navigate and configure their project settings.
