Step 1: Create instrument categories

Categories help organize and structure your monitoring data efficiently. They ensure that instruments are correctly classified, making it easier to manage data, apply calculations, and perform accurate monitoring.

  1. Go to the Monitoring section in the platform and click on Category in the monitoring menu.
  2. Click on the Create Category button in the top-right corner.
  3. When creating a new category, you have two options:
    1. Use a template (recommended) –> Select from predefined templates for a quick setup.

    2. Create from scratch –> Configure a fully custom category.

Creating a Category Using a Template

To simplify this process, we offer predefined templates. These templates are designed based on in-depth research into how category models should be structured for different instruments. Since setting up a model requires expertise, using a template can save you time and effort, ensuring a correct and optimized setup from the start.
