Configure Your Project Hierarchy

In Proqio, the Project Hierarchy lets you organize your monitoring in a way that mirrors your real-world operations. It allows administrators to create sites and groups withing the project, and assign roles that manage access to them—all from a single interface. This ensures that even complex, distributed monitoring programs remain structured, traceable, and easy to manage.

Sites and Groups – How Do They Differ?

In Proqio, a Site represents a physical location or project area where monitoring activities are carried out. It could be a dam, tunnel, bridge, metro station, or any infrastructure asset being instrumented. Each site acts as the fundamental operational unit within the project hierarchy — containing the sensors, dataloggers, and telemetry nodes deployed on the ground.

A Group is a collection of sensors (same type or different) which are associated with one or more Sites.

Using sites and groups, you can customize access given to users. It gives you ability to give users access for certain sites and groups so they can only monitor the sensors within selected sites and groups.

How To Create Sites In Your Project

  • Use Area tool for selecting an area to create a site.
  • Select an area for the site.

  • From the bottom tool bar, select the site icon to proceed with site creation.
